    I just got approved for my Disney visa credit card today, and I saw somewhere you could use it the day you’re approved to purchase your tickets. I do not yet have the full card number or info since I was just approved - do I have to wait to receive card?

    Hi Madeline and welcome to planDisney!

    I just love my Disney Rewards Visa Card by Chase because I earn Disney Rewards Dollars on every purchase that I make that I can then use on my vacations to Walt Disney World.  I use my card for practically everything so I can maximize how many Rewards Dollars I have to spend on things like merchandise, dining and even my Disney Resort hotel.

    You can start using your card immediately, but you will need to call Disney Rewards Customer Service and answer a few security questions first.  I have done this before and can confirm that they will be able to give you your credit card details.  Your actual card will arrive within 7-10 business days.  When you have your card information, you can add it to your digital wallet for either Apple or Android and use your card that way as well.

    There are lots of great perks that come with the card while you are visiting Walt Disney World.  Not only do you get discounts at select dining and merchandise locations, you also get a special meet and greet with a couple of fabulous characters!  At the Disney Visa Photo Spot in EPCOT, you can meet with 2 mystery characters, usually 2 of the Fab Five, and receive complimentary downloads of your photos.  The last time we visited, we met with Pluto and Minnie Mouse.  This photo spot is open daily, so pop in next time you are visiting EPCOT.
