Hiya, Mikel!
Woohoo! It’s almost time for a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth. I bet you’re feeling anxious to jump into the magic of the Disneyland Resort.
In our experience with signing up for the
Disability Access Service (DAS) before arrival (also known as
DAS Advance) we have found that the DAS tile would show up in the ☰ feature menu of the
Disneyland mobile app a few minutes after using our theme park admission to enter one of the theme parks. It would be best to have at least one of the mobile phones in your party log into the same account used for the DAS registration. But other accounts with the same tickets linked to them should also work. At times, we found it helpful to go through common smartphone app troubleshooting steps such as logging out and back in, force quitting the app, and, if necessary, deleting and reinstalling the app. If the DAS service doesn’t show up for you after entering the park and trying some troubleshooting, you may also stop by any of the
Guest Relations locations throughout the Disneyland Resort to seek technical assistance.
Tony’s Tip: If you do find you need to visit a Guest Relations location, my advice is to seek out any of the locations that appear to have fewer Guests waiting for assistance. In my experience, the locations in City Hall or the Chamber of Commerce tend to be the busiest. Some locations that I usually find to be less busy include those near
Plaza Point, across from the TomorrowLanding pin shop in
Tomorrowland, by the Carthay Circle
Red Car Trolley stop, and in
Pixar Pier.
Thanks for visiting us at planDisney, Mikel. If there is anything else we can do to help with your plans to visit the Disneyland Resort, I hope you’ll visit us again soon.
Have a magical time!
