Ahoy there, Becky!
Welcome back to planDisney! My crew and I were just aboard
the dazzling Treasure this past March, and we’ve also done three Halloween on the High Seas sailings—so I’m thrilled you’re setting sail on one of the most spook-tacular itineraries of the year! Between themed nights, frightfully fun festivities, and that legendary Disney magic, you're in for a cruise that’s more treat than trick from start to finish.
Now, entertainment schedules are always subject to change faster than a sea witch’s spell, but here’s what you can expect based on the current schedule:
Day 2 (At Sea) –
Formal NightThis is the perfect night to channel your inner Disney Royal. Whether you're feeling Belle in her golden gown or going for classic Prince Charming vibes, the Grand Hall is made for those fairytale photo ops. You’ll likely find stunning backdrops and Disney friends in their elegant attire. Don’t forget to check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for the Captain’s Welcome Reception, which is often held on this night and may include complimentary sparkling sips and a chance to meet the ship’s officers.
Day 4 (George Town, Grand Cayman) –
Pirate NightAvast! It’s time to batten down the hatches and break out your finest pirate garb! Whether you're more Jack Sparrow, Captain Hook, or even Pirate King, Elizabeth Turner (Swann)—there’s room on deck for every scallywag. You’ll find pirate-themed activities throughout the day, and the evening usually includes a Pirate Deck Party and fireworks at sea (weather permitting, of course). This is always one of our family's favorite nights—we like to dress with matching shirts, bandanas, and yes, even a “Yo Ho” or two.
Day 5 (Falmouth, Jamaica) –
Halloween on the High SeasIt’s time to get your BOO on! Costumes come out in full force for Mickey’s Mouse-querade, trick-or-treating, Halloween-themed crafts, and hauntingly happy surprises throughout the ship. My crew has seen the candy fun scheduled as one big event or split between early and late dining groups, so keep a close eye on the Navigator app for updated times. Make sure your
costume is family-friendly (no projectile-style objects), but yes—plastic pirate swords and wands are totally fair game!
Day 6 (At Sea) – Semi-Formal Night
Think of this as the “just right” Goldilocks night—dressy but not over-the-top. A nice outfit and maybe a dashing DisneyBound is perfect. This is another great evening to grab photos around the Grand Hall, especially as the voyage starts winding down.
Don’t forget, while these themed nights are part of the magic, dressing up is completely optional. You’ll see everything from full ballgowns to cruise casual, and everything in between. The goal is fun—not fashion stress.
I hope this helps you feel more shipshape as you pack those tiaras, pirate hats, and pumpkin ears for your upcoming voyage aboard the Treasure! This itinerary has all the ingredients for an unforgettable adventure: high-seas hijinks, haunted happenings, and a sprinkle of stardust at every turn.
Sea ya real soon as May brings sunshine, magical ports, and maybe a Mickey bar or two,
Dustin
