Hi. I appreciate your advice, But its my first time going and want to make it special for my family. Is the MNSSHP worth the price? R there other activities in other parks for Holloween Night ? Can we dress up in costumes? Just want to make it right. TY

    Hi Joel,

How awesome that you want to make this special for your family! MNSSHP is a blast & I truly think its worth the $. Everyone (including adults) is encouraged to dress up. You'll be boarding rides so you don't want a costume to be bulky & cumbersome. Be sure you wear comfortable footwear.

MK will be decked out in Halloween decorations. When you enter, be sure to pick up a Guide Map for MNSSHP. You'll each be given a Trick-or-Treat bag (you can bring your own). There will be several locations throughout the park where you can T-o-T (locations will be marked on your Guide Map).

There will be several character M&G locations around the park. The characters dress up for Halloween too! PhotoPass Photographers will be located at the M&Gs as well as throughout the park.

Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade is awesome & is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. & 10:30 p.m. Skip the 1st parade & hit the attractions which will be less crowded. Its easier to get a good spot for the 2nd parade. The Happy HalloWishes fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m. Not every attraction is open during MNSSHP - but the most popular ones will be - check the Guide Map for a list.

I haven't seen a complete list of events for the 2010 MNSSHP, but last year there were a couple of character dance party locations & a Disney Villains Mix & Mingle in front of Cinderella Castle. Alice & Mad Hatter's Treat Party was along the back path b/t Toontown & Tomorrowland. These will be listed on the Guide Maps.

You can also ToT at DTD or take a Haunted Hayride at Fort Wilderness. The resorts usually offer activities as well (i.e., face painting, arts & crafts, ToT), but honestly MNSSHP is where I'd want to be. Please feel free to visit again - we've happy to assist you plan an incredible trip. Wishing you magical Halloween memories :-) Allison
