Is there an appreciable difference in crowds between the last week of July and the second week in August?

    Hi Kathryn!

The last week of July and the second week of August typically are similar as far as crowd levels in Walt Disney World.  The crowds start to get less during the third and four weeks of August because colleges are back in session and grade schools in some of the States are beginning as well.  I have vacationed in Walt Disney World during the last two weeks of August with my son three times in the last few years and we really enjoy that time of year.  I will warn you that Walt Disney World still has very warm weather and there usually is an afternoon thunderstorm everyday.

I hope that your next vacation in Walt Disney World is filled with amazing, magical memories!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
