Hi Meghan!
Welcome to planDisney! We're so glad that you found us hEAR with this great
Disability Access Service planning question!
I'm a huge fan of the
new Disability Access Service pre-register system. Previously your only option was to wait until the morning of the first day of your vacation, after you've already entered the park, and request this service in person, which was no fun for anyone. Thankfully this virtual request option speeds things up to make more room for play on your first Disney day!
To pre-register for DAS via a video interview, you'll follow the steps and links mentioned hEAR in this
Registering For Disability Access Service link. Some important things to note are that this virtual interview can only be done between 2-30 days before your arrival. You'll want to make sure that you're logged in with and register for this meeting using the same Disney.com account that will be connected to your Disneyland tickets. Go ahead and upload all of the tickets in your party to either your Disneyland account to their specific will-be users. And be sure to schedule the appointment for a time when the
member in your crew who needs to utilize the service will also be able to be present.
Pro Tip: Go ahead and start a list of all the questions you want to make sure that you ask and get answers to so you won't have to make and wait for a second appointment. However, if you do think of any more questions post-interview, we're always hEAR to help! And If you need some super last-minute help, the same-day in-person Cast Members are still available in multiple
Guest Relations locations in both parks.
I hope that this helped to better plan your upcoming Disney Days, Meghan! Be sure to follow the
official planDisney Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. We even just launched a
brand new planDisney Podcast and episode two is all about Disneyland Resort! And if you have any more DAS or Disneyland questions, We're All Ears!
