Hi! Our appointment to build our lightsaber is at 9:45pm but the park closes at 9pm that night, is that correct or will it be canceled? Also, are the lightsabers allowed as carryons on the plane? Thanks!!!

    Bright Suns, Angie!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Summer is right around the corner and so is your visit to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge!

First, congratulations on scoring a reservation to Savi's Workshop! I know they can be difficult to get, so lucky you! A 9:45 PM reservation sounds like perfect timing. Even though the park closes at 9:00 PM, guests will still be doing some last minute shopping, finishing up meals, or waiting in line to ride one final attraction for the evening. It will be a slow exit out of the park, so take your time and enjoy some of the details around Toy Story Land or Galaxy's Edge. You should be able to get some great photos as the park starts to empty out.

You may even want to consider hopping in line for a last minute attraction about 30 minutes before the park closes. Slinky Dog Dash is really fun at night! Or, if there is a ride you weren't able to fit in earlier, it would be a great time to squeeze it in.

As for getting your light saber home, TSA will allow it through security. I have seen several guests bring their light sabers home as a carry on item, but I recommend double checking with your airline just in case.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation and may the force be with you!
