Hello again, Dora!
Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks so much for bringing another question our way!
You are correct! According to
eTicket Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise stated, the amount paid for any wholly unused, expired
Disneyland Resort theme park ticket (with the exception of
Special Event Tickets) may be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park admission ticket at the current price. The new ticket purchase price must be equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket. When you’re ready to visit, simply go to a Main Entrance ticket booth and, ask a Cast Member to apply your eligible ticket amount towards a new ticket purchase.
Previously, expired tickets could only be applied to a new ticket purchase in person, not online or over the phone. But, the Disneyland Resort has not made an official announcement regarding tickets for the
reopening on April 30th. We do know that attendance will be managed through a new theme park reservation system that will require all guests to obtain an advance reservation for theme park entry in addition to valid theme park admission. More details about this new reservation system and how to link your tickets will likely become available closer to re-opening. To stay up to date on the latest announcements related to the Disneyland Resort re-opening, make sure to check the
Disney Parks Blog on a regular basis. You’ll find breaking news there first!
If you have any additional questions regarding your ticket, I encourage you to reach out to Ticket Services at (714) 781-4636. A Cast Member would be happy to assist you further.
Thanks for coming to planDisney once again! Please keep bringing us your future questions!
