Hi Chelsea, welcome to planDisney! It's time for a happy dance, because there is a way for you to make use of your expired park ticket. Let's get a visit to the Disneyland Resort back on the calendar!
Wholly unused theme park tickets (including expired tickets but not special event tickets) can be applied toward the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater value, subject to certain restrictions. You can do this in person at a ticket booth in the Esplanade (between the two theme park entrances). You can also call the
Tickets phone line. Make sure to have your original ticket handy when you reach out.
Once you’ve got your new ticket, remember to
secure your theme park reservation! It’s required for entry, and I want to make sure your magical day goes off without a hitch. If you're a foodie like me, I highly recommend visiting during one of my favorite annual events, the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival (February 28 - April 21). The delicious food and drinks, culinary demonstrations, live music, and exclusive merchandise make for a five-star experience.
Chelsea, have you heard that select
Magic Key passes are still available (while supplies last)? If you want to go big, you could take your expired ticket and
upgrade it to a Magic Key pass, which will unlock a whole year of magic at the Happiest Place on Earth. As a Magic Key Holder myself, I can tell you it’s a game-changer thanks to discounts,
seasonal extras, and the flexibility of exploring the parks over an extended period of time. Plus, with the
70th Anniversary Celebration beginning in May, there’s no better time to have a Magic Key pass!
I’ll wish on a star that adjusting your expired ticket goes smoothly for you, Chelsea. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at planDisney. We’re always here to help!
Wishing you all the magic,
Kriss
