    Hi there, Lorie!

Thanks for visiting us here at planDisney. It’s our privilege to help fellow Guests with their Disney Parks vacation plans. Since members of my family also have disabilities, I hope our experience can be helpful to you too.

The Disneyland Resort offers many services to help Guests with disabilities. Each service is tailored to meet a certain need rather than a specific diagnosis. Each Guest is important and their individual needs are what the Cast Members of the Disneyland Resort strive to meet. For example, if your party needs to store insulin or other medication under refrigeration, you may visit First Aid. There is a location on Buena Vista Street near the main entrance of Disney California Adventure Park and another near Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park. Guests with disabilities that make extended attraction wait times difficult may register for Disability Access Service (DAS). DAS registration is done by interviewing with a Cast Member at any of the various Guest Relations locations located throughout the theme parks. Or Guests may also register for DAS 2 to 30 days before arriving through DAS Advance. Note that the Guest requiring DAS must be present for the interview, whether it is in-person or virtual.

These and other services are things that my family has also been able to use while visiting the Disneyland Resort. I’m so grateful for the kind and understanding Cast Members who are able to help arrange for the types of services that will most help make our visit to The Happiest Place on Earth as magical as possible. If you have any other questions about your visit, please feel free to visit us at planDisney again.

    See ya’ real soon, Lorie!
