Hey there, Yamila!
I'd like to welcome you to planDisney - where Guests help other Guests make the most of their
Walt Disney World Resort vacations! Am I seeing this correctly? Do you really arrive at The Most Magical Place on Earth
tomorrow!? Yamila, the countdown is almost over and you're about to embark on an exciting journey to the Walt Disney World Resort. I'd be happy to help you plan for a fun-filled visit!
Early theme park entry is a special perk offered to Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels and other select hotels. Guests staying at participating locations may enter the
theme parks 30 minutes before they open to the public, allowing hotel Guests to start their mornings with lower attraction wait times! Yamila, if you'll be staying at a Disney Resort hotel, I'm happy to inform you that there's no need to pre-register for early theme park entry. Simply make your way to the theme park, present your theme park admission at the turnstiles, and you'll be admitted entry into the main entrance area. Once inside the theme park, just follow the "Resort Guest Early Entry" signage or ask a Cast Member for directions. You'll need to verify your
Disney Resort hotel reservation with a Cast Member at this checkpoint, and then you'll be able to access areas of the theme park that are closed off to the general public until park opening time!
Yamila, to make the most of your early theme park entry period, I recommend arriving at the theme park before the entry window begins.
Bus service from your Disney Resort hotel should begin operation about 45 minutes prior to the early entry period. If you'll be staying at a Resort hotel on the
Disney Skyliner, you'll be able to hop on a gondola to head to your destination one hour before the early entry window opens! The
Resort Monorail and Express Monorail begin running 30 minutes before Magic Kingdom Park's early entry period, while the EPCOT Monorail starts up 30 minutes prior to EPCOT's. While
watercraft transportation is one of my favorite ways to leisurely get around property, its hours can vary based on weather conditions. Therefore, I typically prefer taking another means of transportation when I'm serious about "rope-dropping!"
I hope this information helps you to prepare for your perfect Disney day, Yamila! I'm wishing you many magical memories, blue skies, and sunshine. If you have any additional planning questions, please feel free to revisit us at
planDisney anytime. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
