Hi there, April!
It looks like you're just one sleep away from The Most Magical Place on Earth. That sounds like
a great big beautiful tomorrow to me! There's no time to waste, so let's talk gift cards.
Disney Gift Cards are a great budgeting tool for
Walt Disney World Resort vacations. I find myself periodically picking them up before a visit to help offset the cost of my Mickey-shaped snacks and souvenirs once I'm in the middle of the magic. Unfortunately, Disney Gift Cards cannot currently be stored as a method of payment in the My Disney Experience app or linked to your MagicBand+, but
Hakuna Matata, April. You can still charge purchases using your MagicBand, and then stop by the Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel to pay off the charges using your gift cards. I typically do this when I'm filling my Resort Refillable Mug each evening so that I'm not making an extra trip and can save my steps for the theme parks.
In addition to paying off MagicBand charges, you can also use Disney Gift Cards as a form of payment at most physical points of sale and in the My Disney Experience app when mobile ordering
food and beverages or
merchandise. Because you cannot store gift card information directly in the app, I like to save the gift card number to a notes app on my phone so I can quickly copy and paste it into the payment screen when prompted.
planDisney Pixie Dust: If you have multiple Disney Gift Cards, did you know that you can combine them all onto a single card (up to $1000) on the
Disney Gift Card website? This way, you won't have to worry about juggling the balances of multiple cards or fitting several cards in your wallet.
I'm so glad you stopped by
planDisney as you finalize the details of your upcoming visit. Feel free to reach back out with any additional questions that arise during your vacation. You've got a friend in me!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
