Hi, Jolanda!
It is great to chat with you again! I am glad you are planning ahead to make sure you have all the accommodations you require for a safe and comfortable journey as you sail on a beautiful
Disney Cruise Line ship.
When
booking your cruise online, you will want to select
"Accessible Room" when making the reservation. This can easily be done by checking the box which is next to the number of guests ("Who's Sailing") occupying your stateroom. This is also where you will indicate the number of adults and children in your room. Rooms with accessible features will populate, and you may select from those rooms.
You may also
call Disney Cruise Line directly to make your reservation. They will be happy to assist you and find a room that will be appropriate for your medical needs. When calling, it will be helpful to have your cruise date selected (and a back-up date in case your first choice is unavailable). I suggest having your disability card available when calling as well as during boarding. Per the website:
"You may be required to show written confirmation that you need an accessible room." While this is unlikely that they will ask for this confirmation, it is good to be prepared.
I hope you find the perfect cruise so you can be on a Disney Cruise Line ship real soon! Keep me posted and stop back if you have any other questions for our amazing planDisney team!
