Welcome, Jennifer! I'm so happy to see you here at planDisney, and thank you for sharing your question with us.
I'll be delighted to share some information about
Disability Access Service (DAS) at Disneyland Resort. Walt Disney himself was deeply committed to Disneyland Resort being a place where everyone is welcomed and included in all the magical experiences awaiting them. The DAS program provides accommodations for Guests who may experience difficulty waiting for extended periods in attraction queues due to a disability.
Guests using the DAS program utilize a virtual process to book return times for the attractions they would like to experience, as opposed to waiting in the physical queue. If you'd like to use this service, you will choose to either
pre-register for a video chat with a Cast Member prior to your arrival or
visit a Guest Relations location when you arrive on-site. The pre-registration process can be completed between 2 and 30 days before your park visit and is really easy to complete! Just make sure you have your tickets linked to your Disney account and ensure that every member of your travel party has valid theme park reservations confirmed.
Once you've pre-registered, you can begin selecting return times for select attraction experiences using the DAS Advance planning option for up to 2 DAS Advance selections per day. You can also request same-day return times for select attractions within the official Disneyland mobile app, or a Cast Member at Guest Relations can always assist in booking same-day return times for you.
Jennifer, I hope this has been a helpful start. If you have any other specific questions about the DAS program, you can feel welcome to contact a Cast Member using the dedicated
Disability Services phone line. And of course, all of us at
planDisney are always happy to help you with any other planning questions as you get ready to visit Disneyland Resort!
Wishing you magic, always!
