Hello there, Gemma! A very warm welcome to
planDisney, and thank you so much for bringing us your question. I’m so happy to help, especially with such an important topic ahead of your magical vacation!
The Disability Access Service (DAS) is a fantastic program designed to support Guests who have difficulty waiting in traditional queues, and I’m so glad to hear you’re looking into it ahead of your visit. It can truly make a world of difference in ensuring everyone in your party has the most comfortable and enjoyable experience possible.
Now, when it comes to Guests visiting from the UK, the process looks a little different compared to those in the United States. At this time, international Guests are not able to pre-register for DAS online or through a video chat before arrival. Instead, you’ll need to visit
Guest Relations in person once you arrive at
Walt Disney World Resort.
You can stop by any Guest Relations location, whether that’s at the entrance to one of the theme parks or at Disney Springs, and a friendly Cast Member will talk through your needs, explain how the program works, and help you complete the registration process. If your request is approved, they’ll also help you set up your first return time right away!
I recommend heading to Guest Relations as early in your trip as possible to get everything sorted with plenty of time. And don’t worry. They’ll take great care of you and walk you through each step with kindness and care.
Gemma, I hope this helps you feel a bit more confident as you plan your visit from across the pond! If you have any other questions, big or small, we’re always here and absolutely thrilled to help.
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
