Hi Joanne, my warmest welcome to planDisney today.
Recent changes to the Disability Access Service (DAS) aim to ensure Guests receive the most
suitable accommodations for their needs. The outstanding level of care from the Cast Members at Walt Disney World remains, and I know they will do their utmost to accommodate any requirements and help you connect at the hotel.
To see if you qualify for DAS, you must partake in an online video chat upon your arrival at Walt Disney World. International Guests like us must be in the US to have this conversation.
Once at Walt Disney World or on US soil, speak with a Cast Member
via video chat (please note this link will not work outside the US). You can discuss your needs and requirements, and they will help you work through any accommodations to ensure your visit is as enjoyable as possible.
As you mentioned needing help with this video chat process, please visit
Guest Relations at any Theme Park or Disney Resort location. The Cast Members will assist you in making the call and ensure you receive the necessary support.
Rest assured, Walt Disney World works tirelessly to provide an inclusive space. Accessible entrances are always available at attractions.
Service animals are permitted throughout the resort, for Guests with visual needs audio description devices, Braille guidebooks, and tactile maps are available at Guest Relations.
Let me know if you have any further questions, Joanne. We're here to help make your planning adventure magical!
Pixie-dusted wishes,
Louise
