Hello there, Kellie!
Thank you for bringing your
Walt Disney World Resort question to us at
planDisney. I’m thrilled to hear that you want to plan a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth soon!
As you may already know, the
Disability Access Service (DAS) program is available to Guests who aren’t able to wait for
attractions in a traditional standby queue. Cast Members work with Guests individually to discuss specific circumstances and needs. If approved, this program allows the person who requires DAS and their party to receive a return time for attractions based on the current wait time. To inquire, you’ll need to have a pre-registration video chat before your vacation begins via the link on the
DAS registration page. You may do this as soon as 30 days prior to your trip to the resort. There is not an on-site option for requesting registration in person, but it is possible to conduct the video chat on the day of your visit.
Before you start the live chat process, sign in to the
Walt Disney World Resort website or My Disney Experience. Make sure that a
theme park ticket for everyone in your group is linked and that the Guest who is requesting to use DAS is present. When you’re ready, accept the Terms & Conditions and then click “Request Live Video Chat” between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time to begin.
I hope this information helps you enjoy a magical and memorable vacation, Kellie! Please don’t hesitate to visit us again with more questions as you continue making plans.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
