Hello, Helen. It's so nice that you found us here at planDisney!
I'm so excited for you to not only experience the magic of the
Walt Disney World Resort but also the
inclusivity of it. The Cast Members go to great lengths to ensure that all Guests feel welcome and comfortable,
including our friends who are neurodivergent. As a teacher who loves to watch all children soar, it warms my heart to see
how accessible they make the resort. Everyone deserves magic and I love that Disney truly believes that and strives their best to ensure that's the case.
At this time, Guests in the United Kingdom cannot initiate a call via the virtual chat regarding the Disability Access Service ahead of their arrival in the United States. But don't worry, once you have access to the United States version of the website, you can initiate a virtual call on your smart device. This can be done as soon as 30 days in advance of your visit to the resort. Just note that all Guests must discuss registering for this service virtually and can no longer do it at Guest Relations.
Helen, there are so many exciting offerings this summer that you're going to have an absolute blast! In
Magic Kingdom Park, you've got
Tiana's Bayou Adventure opening on June 28, 2024 and the
Country Bear Musical Jamboree on July 17, 2024. In
EPCOT, there's the brand-new limited-time stage show
¡Celebración Encanto! on the brand-new CommuniCore Plaza Stage in the brand-new
CommuniCore Hall and Plaza (am I saying brand-new enough for you?). And
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is busy
celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the animated classic The Lion King with
specialty treats, merchandise, and
meet and greets. And then there's Joy from
Inside Out 2 visiting
Disney's Hollywood Studios. Oh, and there's also the drone show
Disney Dreams That Soar in
Disney Springs! Plus, there's just, you know, everything else that makes this magical place so special.
Enjoy every moment of your trip. If you have any other questions,
I'm happy to answer them for you!
Your very special spice makes us complete,
Matt
