Hey there, Claudia! Thanks for bringing your great question to planDisney.
There are so many reasons why I love visiting
Walt Disney World Resort, but mostly because of the way that it tries to make the magic accessible to all of its Guests! The
Disability Access Service (DAS) is a way to assist Guests who are unable to wait in a traditional queue environment due to a disability. If you are eligible, you will sign up with a Cast Member using a live video chat between two and 30 days prior to your trip. The Cast Member will work with you to determine the best next steps for you, as well as help with selecting experiences in advance.
To
register for DAS, you'll need to accept the Terms and Conditions, then click "Request Live Video Chat." I would recommend making sure that the Guests in your travel party are connected to your
Family & Friends List ahead of time, which will make planning much easier! Also, I'd suggest downloading and exploring the
My Disney Experience app before arriving at the parks. This is a great way to make your Same-Day DAS Return Time Self-Selections, check wait times for attractions, access
virtual queues, and even
mobile order food!
I hope I was able to point you in the right direction today, Claudia! If you have any other questions, please write to us again. We're always happy to help!
You've got a friend in me,
Michelle
