How do I apply for a DAS ahead of our trip to you on 1/7/24

Hello, Lorraine! Your trip to the resort is right around the corner. I hope you're getting excited!

At this time, International Guests cannot initiate a live video chat with a Cast Member to apply for the Disability Access Service (DAS) ahead of their visit. However, once you land in the United States and have access to the U.S. version of the website, you'll be able to initiate this call. In fact, you can even do it from inside the parks on your own smart device!

While I usually say that any time visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is an exciting time to visit, your summer trip this year is smack dab in the middle of some pretty exciting new offerings. CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza in EPCOT will be open and there will be a brand-new show called ¡Celebración Encanto! on the CommiCore Plaza stage. Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park will be busy celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Lion King with a new meet and greet, some tasty snacks, and some new merchandise. And the best part about this particular celebration? The Lion King may be 30 years old, but I haven't aged a day!

And that's not all. Joy from Inside Out 2 will be joining some Pixar Pals to meet and greet in Disney's Hollywood Studios. The new drone show Disney Dreams That Soar will be performed nightly in Disney Springs. And then there's the elephant in the room...and I'm not just talking about Smellephants on Parade in Magic Kingdom Park. I'm talking about going down the bayou on Tiana's Bayou Adventure! I will also be there in July and I cannot wait to experience this new attraction.

Lorraine, stay cool at the resort this summer and enjoy every single minute. If you have any other questions, I'm more than happy to answer them for you!

    You're almost there,
    Matt
