Hiya, Kari!
Welcome back to planDisney, friend! I am so excited to see that you have a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth coming up soon. And you will be arriving just as the
holiday season at Walt Disney World resort is starting. It truly is the most magical time of the year! As you are making your vacation planning list and checking it twice, you can add pre-registration for the
Disability Access Service to things you can do before you arrive. Here's all you need to know about registering for the Disability Access Service, or DAS before you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort.
Guests now have the option to
register for DAS before their magical vacation begins. Pre-registration can be completed through the Walt Disney World website 2-30 days prior to your arrival. Before you request a virtual registration live video chat, be sure that you have
created a My Disney Experience account for each member of your travel party and that
they are linked together. This is an essential step that will help that Cast Member assisting you set up return times for your travel party. Once you complete this step,
you can request a video chat through the Walt Disney World website. A friendly Cast Member will assist you with setting up your DAS during this call. You will also be able to select two return times per day during the call, so be sure to
check the list of available experiences and make your selections before you call. This can be a real time saver! Live chats are available from 7 AM ET to 10 PM ET. I recommend calling early if possible as some wait times may be longer than anticipated.
You can also register for DAS after you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort. Stop by any
Guest Relations location inside the four theme parks to set up the service in person.
I hope your upcoming adventure is merry and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
Tammy
