Welcome to planDisney, Heather!
Thanks for stopping by with your question!
Walt Disney World Resort has a service called
Disney MagicMobile, which allows you to enjoy convenient and contactless access to many MagicBand+ features, such as theme park entry. Guests can access the Disney MagicMobile Service using their digital services, including Apple Watch.
At this time, Disneyland does not have the MagicMobile service. Therefore, Guests cannot use their Apple Watch to enter the theme parks, etc. However, who knows what the future holds? Hopefully, it won't be long before we can start using our Apple Watch at the Disneyland Resort. Let me encourage you to keep visiting
Disney Parks Blog and the
Disneyland Instagram account for any exciting news.
In the meantime, I'd consider purchasing a
MagicBand+. Using MagicBand+ you'll be able to enter the theme parks, check in at
Lightning Lane entrances, and experience really cool features, like haptic vibrations and colorful lights during nighttime spectaculars. In fact, you can even use your MagicBand+ to seek virtual bounties throughout Black Spire Outpost by playing
Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters! I have a cool (and new) Grogu one and I'm excited to use it the next time I visit.
I hope that's helpful, Heather. Have a great upcoming trip!
Mike
