While it is always nice to have a few days at sea away from it all, sometimes you still need to keep in contact with the "real world!" While onboard your Disney Cruise, you will be able to stay in touch through imessage. There is no additional cost for this. Both the sender and receiver must have imessaging for it to work. Please note that only text works, photos will not send.
If you need access to the internet during your sailing, sign up for
Connect at Sea when your board the ship. Remember that you are in the middle of the ocean, so internet is not going to be speedy like at home, but it will help keep you connected if you need something beyond the imessaging.
To avoid any extreme cell phone bills when you get home, set your phone to "DCL-GUEST" when boarding the ship. You will then be able to access the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app while sailing. The Navigator is like having your own personal cruise director as it has dining times, menus, activity schedules, deck plans, and so much more.
