Hi Jennifer,
Thank you for visiting us today at the
Disney Parks Moms Panel. Ready to
Fall in to Magic at Walt Disney World Resort?
October is an awesome time to visit, specially when Mickey and his friends want all Guests to trick or treat in
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. On select nights, Magic Kingdom Park closes early for Guests to enjoy this special event which requires a separate party Ticket. And you don't want to miss out on the food, music and fun at
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.
Now, you can enjoy the Theme Parks up to the last minute. My family and I love to close down a park. At closing time, no new Guests are allowed to enter a Theme Park, nor get in line at attractions. Those in line prior to closing, are typically allowed to stay in line and enjoy the ride. Restaurants may close earlier than closing time, but stores are usually open for about an hour past closing. At this time, on October 22nd 2019,
Magic Kingdom Park is scheduled to close at 6:00 p.m. with no scheduled evening
Extra Magic Hours. It is possible that a separate or private event is being held, or just that Mickey wants to take a break. Though I think he is going to fly to the other end of the galaxy and visit
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
One last tip: as you get closer to your travel date or arrive at the Resort, be sure to check the Times Guide for up-to-date information, since opening or closing times are subject to change. Or download the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Happy planning!
Ricardo.
