It appears that our go to breakfast, the Bountiful Platter, is not available at the Boardwalk resort. For 2025, can we have groceries delivered to the resort? Fees? Must we be there to receive them? How big is the freezer in the Deluxe Studio villa?

    Hey Doug,

Welcome home, and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for visiting us with your question today. I love helping fellow Disney Vacation Club Members make the most of their membership. It looks like you’ll be vacationing at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas this summer, how exciting!

One of my favourite things about being a Disney Vacation Club Member is the flexibility to stay at different resorts and the availability of different-sized accommodations. The deluxe studio villas at BoardWalk are a fantastic choice, and they’ve recently been refurbished—they look great! The kitchenette includes an under-counter fridge, though it’s worth noting that it does not have a freezer section.

Since we travel from the UK, we stay for at least 14 nights and always take advantage of grocery delivery from a nearby supermarket. Many Members find it helpful to order groceries for their arrival, though it’s important to arrange delivery after the 4 pm check-in time since not all resorts can store fresh items. When placing an order, be sure to include the correct resort address, it would surely be a bibbidy bobbidy bummer if those groceries made their way to your home town! Also, include a mobile phone number so the delivery driver can easily contact you.

Please note, that the resort will not accept age-restricted items such as alcohol on your behalf, so you’ll need to be present if your order includes them. A handling fee, currently $6 but subject to change, will be added to your room account for each delivery received by Bell Services.

Another option is to use the DVC Grocery Order Form, available on the Disney Vacation Club website. After logging in, click on the "Plan Vacation" tab, and scroll down to "Pre-Arrival Checklist," and select "Order Groceries." Once the form is completed and emailed to the listed address, the order can either be picked up from Bell Services or delivered directly to your villa. You can expect the delivery from 5 pm on your check-in day.

I hope this helps, Doug, and I hope you have a brilliant vacation at Walt Disney World this summer. If you have any more questions, please reach out to me, I’d love to help!

    Have a magical day,

    Matt
