In the app, the waiting time for attractions in the park does not appear from a few days ago. what should I do?

    Hello, Lajin! Welcome to planDisney!

Just think - one week from today you'll be heading to the magic! How exciting is that? It sounds like you're already looking ahead to all of the attractions you want to ride during your vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!

I'm not quite sure what you're asking, Lajin, so I'm going to walk through how to check attraction wait times in the My Disney Experience app. If you need more information or were asking about something else, please stop in and ask us another question, okay? All right, here we gooooo....!

The My Disney Experience mobile app on your phone has lots of information to help you plan your Disney day. To check current wait times at attractions in real time, look at the bottom of your screen for the little gray teardrop shaped icon with a circle inside it. Click there to go to the park map function. You can see wait times for each attraction marked on the map itself, or you can click on "Show List" in the upper right corner to get all of the wait times for each attraction in a handy scrollable list. To narrow down the list or change the park map, click on "Filter" in the top left corner and choose the location you'd like to view. And that's it! You've got all of the wait times at your fingertips!

The new Disney Genie service takes that info to the next level by showing you not only current wait times, but also the forecasted wait times throughout the day! You can access Disney Genie right there in the app by clicking on the three little horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of your phone screen and then on "Tip Board" on the next page. Click on "Change Park" to choose the theme park you're looking for, then scroll through the list to see the current wait times. If you click on "View Details" next to the time, you'll see a graph that shows you how wait times are expected to change during the day. For example, if you don't want to wait 45 minutes for Haunted Mansion right now, the graph shows you that the wait time should be lower at 7 p.m. It's a really helpful way to make the most of your day!

Lajin, I hope this helps you find the information you were looking for. Thank you so much for stopping by to see us here at planDisney, and I wish you a magical vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
