I have the app and all of the tickets linked to my account. My husband also downloaded the app and I had him scan my link QR code. He used his own app to set up his magic band. Will the tickets pair to his magic band?

    Welcome to planDisney, Tracy!

Oh, your visit to Walt Disney World is right around the corner--that is so exciting!

It looks as if you have linked your tickets to your Disney account and gotten your MagicBand+ set up as well. Great pre-arrival planning!

Think of your MagicBand+, your online Disney account, and your My Disney Experience app as three different ways to access all of your Walt Disney World activities. The difference with MagicBand is that it accesses just that one person's plans. Tickets, Lightning Lane passes, charging to your account (if you've enabled that via your hotel stay), unlocking your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room, adding Disney PhotoPass Service pics to your Disney account--it's all just a tap away. So convenient!

Once you have assigned a Walt Disney World park ticket to each person, you are good to go. Any one of you with a MagicBand or MagicBand+ will be able to access their own ticket when tapping into a park or entering a ride using a Lightning Lane pass, but that MagicBand+ can't access someone else's ticket. I love that we don't need to pair a ticket to a MagicBand+ because that magical My Disney Experience has already done that for us.

If you'd like to check to be sure that the tickets are set up just the way you'd like them, head to either your online Disney account or your My Disney Experience app. If online, hover over the My Disney Experience tab to the far right, then select My Plans and Tickets. On the next screen, the Daily Itinerary tab will likely be defaulted, so click on the Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker tab to the right of that. There, you can check to ensure that everyone's tickets have been assigned correctly.

When on the app, click on the hamburger icon--the three horizontal lines stacked on top of each other--in the bottom right corner. On the next screen, select My Tickets & Passes on the top left. Because you and your husband are on each other's Family & Friends List in My Disney Experience, you'll see both of your tickets; just slide to the left on that ticket screen to see them.

Tracy, I am so excited for you and your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World! As you finalize your plans, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
