The app says I have gotten my groups “park pass”. Is this the same as having a reservation for that park? Thank you!

Hey there, Alexa, and welcome to planDisney! Your Walt Disney World vacation is less than a week away, and I’m sure you are bubbling over with excitement by now! I’m more than happy to help you put the finishing touches on your upcoming visit.

Alexa, Walt Disney World currently requires each Guest to have valid Theme Park Tickets and Disney Park Pass reservations to gain entry into the Theme Parks. A reservation is required for each day you plan to visit the Theme Parks but only for your first scheduled park if you’re planning to park hop. Based on your question, it sounds like you’re all set! Park reservations show up in the My Disney Experience app as a Disney Park Pass for your reserved Theme Park.

Now that we’ve got that settled, you can fully get excited about your vacation! And now is such an amazing time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! With the 50th Anniversary Celebration in full swing, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind now boarding, and new Sips and Bites across the Resort, there are lots of ways to make sure that this Disney Vacation is one to remember!

I hope this helps, Alexa! Let me know if you have more questions while planning your vacation.

You’ve got a friend in me,
