Kemi! Hello! Welcome to
planDisney! I’m so glad you’re planning a trip to the
Happiest Place on Earth.
I see you’re looking to upgrade part of your stay to a park hopper ticket. Solid choice, my friend. Unfortunately, the only way to upgrade a
2-day ticket to a park hopper is to upgrade both days. While this may cost more than you were hoping to spend, I think it might be a sign. A sign to jump in with two feet, to live in the now, and never miss an opportunity to experience the most magic you can cram into this life.
As a
Magic Key holder, I’m able to park hop on all of my visits. There are great benefits! First of all, you have the freedom to wait until you arrive to see what the vibe is at the parks. If you have a 1-day ticket to Disneyland and the lines are really long, it’s painful to look at the Disney California Adventure ride times in the
Disneyland Mobile App and see a 10-minute wait for
Incredicoaster. You’ll totally wish you had the park hopper. While I love planning and prioritizing, it isn’t as necessary when you have a park hopper.
Go all over the place! Hit your must-dos in Disney California Adventure, then get started on your list for Disneyland before the end of the night. The next day, you can check off the rest of your list and then see what you feel like doing. Sometimes my family will feel like riding
“it’s a small world” in the morning, but we want Asada Fries from
Award Weiners for lunch. The park hopper gives you that freedom, and it’s worth it.
Kemi, while this might not have been the news you were hoping for, I hope your trip to Disneyland Resort is a magical one, filled with all the hopping you can handle.
Have a magical day!
Corey
