    App will not let me split party and make 2 reservations at same place and time Makes me choose only 1

    Welcome back to planDisney with a great question! My fellow panelist Sarah has already given you tips on making dining reservations for large parties, now let’s see how you can book separate reservations at the same time at the same restaurant.

    While making dining reservations, the system allows Guests to make only one reservation for the same time under the same name. The second reservation you are trying to secure will have to be booked under the name of another Guest in your travel party. This Guest can try securing a reservation at the same time and at the same restaurant online or using the My Disney Experience mobile app. 

    planDisney tips: I recommend arriving at the restaurant about 15 minutes before your reservation time to inform Cast Members that both parties would like to be seated together. They will do their best to accommodate your request, but please note that this will depend on restaurant occupancy at the time. In addition, be sure to connect with the Guests traveling with you via My Family & Friends to share dining reservations and other travel details!
