Hello! Apologies if this has already been answered, as I couldn’t find it doing a search on the site. We are planning a trip for November or December of 2026, and are wondering when the dates will be open to be able to plan and book? Thank you so much!

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Shawna!

Welcome to planDisney! We are THRILLED you stopped by and are honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! I can tell you are a planner since you are working over a year in advance to build your "happily ever after" game plan! Just know the planning you do now will pay great dividends when you arrive at the "Most MAGICAL Place On Earth!" From the very first “Welcome home!” to the final sparkle of fireworks lighting up the night sky, every detail will come together to create memories that last a lifetime. So grab your Mickey ears, pack your sense of adventure, and get ready for your BEST vacation ever!

What a great question! As you know, you are only allowed to book vacations from now until October 2026. Since Mickey has not released the holiday dates quite yet, the best way to keep updated with the most important and up-to-date Disney information is to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. This will be the best place to find out when these dates will be released for 2026.

In the meantime, this is the perfect chance to start dreaming big and sketching out your plans. Imagine the holiday MAGIC at Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, where you can stroll along the charming, lantern-lit pathways and enjoy the cozy, festive decorations. Another great place to experience the larger-than-life holiday fun is at Pop Century Resort, where the bright and playful vibe gets an extra splash of cheer when the Christmas décor goes up. When it comes to dining, you could gather for a festive family meal at ‘Ohana at the Polynesian Village Resort, or step into the twinkling beauty of Be Our Guest in Magic Kingdom, where dinner feels straight out of a fairytale.

The holidays are one of the most popular times of year at Disney, so being ready the moment those dates open means you will snag the best resort rooms and the most enchanting dining times. Plus, even if you book early, you can often apply special offers later if Disney releases a new promotion, so it’s a win-win. I think it's about time to get your wish list ready now, and when the booking window opens, you will be all set to lock in a holiday trip overflowing with pixie dust and Christmas sparkle!

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way we can!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
