I am an AP who will be visiting WDW on a Saturday in March. If we want to visit HS on Saturday morning and hop to MK, we only need park reservations for HS. Is that correct? The MK rules for AP park hopping on a Saturday still confuse me.

    Greetings from planDisney Sara!

It’s great to talk to a fellow Walt Disney World Annual Passholder from Michigan! I don’t have to tell you that we are both probably feeling a bit like Olaf these days just doing whatever snow does in Michigan and dreaming of how much cooler we’ll be in summer! Or in your case in March!

You will be much cooler than me because you will be hopping from Disney’s Hollywood Studios to the Magic Kingdom with your Annual Pass on your Saturday in March!  For Annual Passholders, if you make a theme park reservation and visit another park earlier in the day on Saturday, if it has not reached capacity, you can park hop to Magic Kingdom once you’ve redeemed your initial reservation at Hollywood Studios!

So, with your Annual Pass, you’ll need to make a theme park reservation for whichever park you plan to start your day at. Once you scan into that park, you can hop to any other park that day, pending capacity. No need for a reservation beyond the first park that you attend that day!

As an Annual Passholder I’m always excited to see the perks and extras that are available and right now there is a Passholder-exclusive tumbler featuring artwork by Joey Chou! This nonrefillable tumbler can be purchased at various dining locations around Walt Disney World including Hollywood Studios, where you can pick one up at Dockside Diner or Backlot Express

Sara, when you are belting out your favorite tunes with Olaf at For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Hollywood Studios, think about the rest of us snowmen back here in Michigan waiting for the first time in forever until we get to enjoy the magic!

Have a magical trip and thanks for stopping by planDisney!
