Hey There, Lori!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Don't you just love all the benefits that come along with being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder? In addition to a year full of fun at Walt Disney World theme parks, you can take advantage of fantastic dining and shopping discounts, special offers, complimentary standard theme park parking, and even
Passholder-exclusive merchandise and events –– if you ask me, it's the perfect way to add an extra spoonful of sugar to each and every Walt Disney World visit!
So, what happens when your year-full-of-magic comes to an end? Unfortunately, your
Walt Disney World Annual Pass will expire exactly one year from the date of activation, not the end of the month (seriously, it would be so cool if it did, though!). While you might be sad to miss out on those few extra days, there is a silver lining to that looming expiration date, too –– if you're planning to renew your Walt Disney World Annual Pass, you'll be able to do so at a discounted rate. So, not only will you be able to enjoy another year of fun at The Most Magical Place on Earth, but you'll be able to do it for a few dollars less than the purchase of a new Pass. How cool is that?! You can renew your pass up to 60 days before or 30 days after the expiration date on the
Walt Disney World website, by visiting any Walt Disney World
Guest Relations location or theme park ticketing window, or by calling (407) 560-7277.
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney, Lori. If you think of new Disney vacation planning questions, I hope you'll visit us again and I'm wishing you lots of Passholder magic during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit!
Have a Magical Day,
Amy
