Hi there, Daniella!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney. As a fellow Sunshine State
Annual Passholder, I am just the gal to help you out. I love that Annual Passholders can enter the theme parks after 2 p.m. every day (except for Magic Kingdom Park on the weekends) without a theme park reservation. You’re in for some good news.
Even if you’ve made a theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom Park, you can go straight to EPCOT after 2 p.m. without tapping into the reserved theme park first. Now, with that being said, I was in a similar situation a couple of months ago and a Cast Member asked me to make a theme park reservation at the Mickey-shaped turnstile at 9 p.m.—way past 3 p.m. So, things like that do happen, but everything was still fine. It was a technology glitch.
If you want to visit EPCOT before 2 p.m. on the day that you have the Magic Kingdom Park reservation, you would have to check into Park #1 first and then park hop to EPCOT. By the way, park hopping between those two parks is super easy. There’s nothing like a relaxing Disney Monorail ride for a relaxing midday break.
Daniella, please don’t hesitate to
revisit us here at planDisney if you have additional questions about your upcoming adventures. And don’t forget to check out the fun
V.I.PASSHOLDER Days this spring, full of visits to the Passholder Lounge at EPCOT, increased discounts at certain dining locations starting on May 28, and that adorable new Stitch magnet.
Magic always,
LeAndra
