Greg from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

AP: Pixie Dust (Mon-Fri) Vacation Dates include Sat & Sun staying at Disney Resort (Coronado Springs). Does the AP allow for park entry Sat & Sun due to staying at resort or are we expected to purchase tix for Sat & Sun on top of our AP?

Hey there, Greg! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with such a great vacation planning question. I love being able to chat with a fellow Annual Passholder!

Well, it sounds like the magic called you, and you answered the call, Greg! I, too, answered the call and became a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder in 2015 and haven't had a single regret. Don't you just love being an Annual Passholder?! Being able to make Theme Park Pass reservations and head to my happy place on a whim brings joy and magic to my everyday life. I'm so excited to hear that you have a magical stay at The Most Magical Place on Earth and Disney's Coronado Springs Resort planned! Let's chat about your pixie-dusted weekend activity options.

Since you have the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, you are correct that the Pass is for use on most weekdays, with blockout dates on the weekends. So, if you would like to go to the theme parks on the weekends, you will have to purchase theme park tickets for those dates. But Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries."  I would love to offer you some suggestions on some unforgettable activities outside of the theme parks!

One option is to spend the day enjoying one of Walt Disney World Resort's water parks, such as Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. The attractions may be wet, but the theming and magic here are not watered down! While prices are always subject to change, right now, you can purchase a one-day ticket to Typhoon Lagoon for only $69, making it more affordable than purchasing a theme park ticket. Next month, my family and I plan on spending a fun-filled day splashing around Typhoon Lagoon, and we even reserved a Beachcomber Shack to have some privacy, shade, relaxation, comfort, and more in between the water attractions. I can't wait to enjoy this break from the theme parks, and I hope you enjoy it, too!

Another suggestion for endless fun without needing a theme park ticket is to enjoy everything that your Resort has to offer. Coronado Springs has a seemingly endless list of fantastic dining options and amazing Resort activities for you to take advantage of, as well as an oh-so-fun pool with the awesome poolside Siestas Cantina (I recommend the nachos and a refreshing margarita! YUM!). Another delicious, fun and unforgettable experience at your Resort is Sangria University at the fantastic Three Bridges Bar and Grill. This experience is held on Saturdays and Sundays and can't be missed! Be sure to book this when you book your dining reservations!

Of course, there is endless dining, shopping, entertainment, and fun at Disney Springs! It is SO easy to spend a full Disney day here. No theme park admission required!

I like to see Annual Pass blockout dates as an opportunity to enjoy the more leisurely side of a Walt Disney World vacation, and I hope this helped you to do the same, Greg! Stop by any time with any vacation planning questions. You've got a friend in me!

I hope to see ya real soon,

    Mandy
