We are ap holders and have a handicap sticker to park. Do we have to pay for parking during our stay at the Disney hotel?

Hello, Mary! Thank you for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! This is actually a question I had myself earlier last year when booking a stay at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside

As you may know, standard overnight parking is available for registered Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels for a fee that is applied to their hotel folio upon check-out. Standard overnight parking charges do differ based on Resort Category.

One of the biggest reasons I return to Disney Resort hotels is their eagerness to provide assistance to Guests with disabilities! In regards to parking, Disney Deluxe hotels offer complimentary valet parking to any Guest with a current dining or room reservation and a valid disability parking permit. At Disney Moderate and Disney Value hotels, Guests with disabilities are also exempt from standard overnight parking charges whenever they show a valid disability parking permit at the time of check-in. It is also important to note that there are designated parking areas for Guests with disabilities throughout all Disney Resort hotels.

I know firsthand just how important accommodations for Guests with disabilities can be when planning a vacation to Walt Disney World. Each and every time I visit, I am delighted and surprised by how Walt Disney World goes the extra mile to make each and every Guest experience magical!

Have fun continuing to plan the rest of your Walt Disney World vacation!
