Hi Mom's! We'll be at AoA 7/26/14 and wondering if inflatable toys are permitted at the pools? Also, my granddaughter's 6th birthday is day before, where could I get a birthday cake? Thanks, you've all been so helpful for my extended families 1st trip

Hello Janice!  Welcome back to the Moms Panel!  You're going to love Disney's Art of Animation Resort - it is just so visually amazing, and kids and adults alike seem to have so much fun there.  Small, inflatable pool toys are allowed in the pools at Walt Disney World Resort, but I would avoid bringing large rafts or similar.  But water-wings, swim rings, or small balls and inflatables are just fine, so no worries!

If you'd like to order a special cake to celebrate you grand-daughter's birthday, I recommend getting in touch with the folks at Disney Specialty Cakes.  They can design a cake exactly as you request, large or small, and it can be delivered to most table-service restaurants on Disney property.  You will need to call at least 48 hours in advance at 407-827-2253.

Janice, don't forget to pick up a complimentary Happy Birthday button for your grand-daughter to wear throughout her vacation.  Cast Members love to give special wishes and greetings to guests wearing these buttons, and your grand-daughter is sure to feel extra-special.

Have a magical day Janice, and be sure to come back if you have any other questions!
