    I see that AoA says its -OPEN NOW- Anyone been there yet?So excited about pool (heard underwater nemo sound?) and landscapes son 5 years LOVES cars but not spending 300.Thinking mermaid rooms? Or pop if no conncectiong rooms available when we make our res

    Hi Jessica! If you are planning a trip soon to the Art of Animation resort at Disney then you will only have a choice of one of the three great Family Suites.  Right now that is all that is open and accepting guests. The suites run about $249 a night. The Mermaid standard rooms will be open and accept reservations starting in September, 2012 so just a few more months.

    As your second choice I agree that Pop Century is the best and many guests actually prefer that resort over the moderate ones at Disney. It is certainly my favorite although Art of Animation will be hard to beat when the entire resort is open and running with all of the latest technology and fun in place!
