Is there anywhere you can watch fireworks for free if you are staying at a non-Disney hotel?

Hi Cynthia! The Disney parks are well known for their great firework shows such as Wishes in the Magic Kingdom and Illuminations:Reflections of Earth in Epcot.

The only way to really enjoy and see any of the Disney shows is to be in the park. So much of it is done at a low level whether on the castle or water level so to try to watch it outside a park is to miss a great deal of the magic.

Many of the resorts are closed to outside guests unless you have a dining reservation. This is because parking is at a premium and those resort guests must have first access to that. If you have a dining reservation and can park at one of the Seven Seas Lagoon resorts you can see some of the Magic Kingdom show from there. If you are in the Boardwalk area you can see part of the Illuminations show from the bridge crossing over the water. This spot has become increasingly harder to see though due to the growth of trees.

Honestly, the only way to really appreciate the Disney magic when it comes to the fireworks is to be right in the parks.
