Is there anywhere (shops, vendors, restaurants) on Disney property that DOES NOT accept charging to your room key as payment? Can all tips be paid this way? Charging is allowed from time of check-in through midnight of the day you check-out, correct?

    What's up, Diane? I don't carry cash. That's so 1986.

    Checks? Nope.

I'm the guy who pays for everything on a debit card / credit card. At Disney World, I mix it up a bit and charge to my Key to the World room card a bit. I'm kinda crazy like that.

The super funky thing is that you can use your Key to the World card for purchases just about anywhere on property. The only two instances where I haven't been able to do so were at coffee/espresso kiosks and street vendors selling light up toys. Needless to say, it's very easy to use your Key to the World card on just about everything, including tips at restaurants.

At check in, you'll have the opportunity to put a credit card on file and connect it to your room key for charging privileges.

And, you're correct on the last part of your question - charging privileges and any remaining dining credits expire at midnight (or more like 11:59:59 p.m.) on the day you check out.
