Hi there Christin! Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question; we're always thrilled to talk about all things Disney!
The Bedtime Stories shown on the televisions at
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels are the perfect way to unwind with your mouseketeers after a day of fun in the theme parks. My own little prince and princess adore them, and I can understand your youngsters being enamored with them as well.
We are always looking for ways to incorporate some Disney magic into our daily lives. While the Disney Bedtime Stories are an exclusive perk of your resort stay and not available to purchase or view on a streaming service like
Disney+, I have some other suggestions that your children might enjoy as much as mine do.
If it's relaxing, nighttime reading you're looking for, my kids love the
Junior Encyclopedia of Animated Characters. They enjoy reading about their favorite Disney characters and learning about some they aren't familiar with yet. This book sparked my son's interest in the film
Ratatouille, and he is now extra excited about the
new attraction featuring his favorite little chef, debuting at EPCOT this summer. If your children enjoy a little more independence, check out the Me Reader Electronic Reader available on Amazon or similar retail outlets. There are several Disney themed options.
Finally, if you subscribe to Disney+, take a look at the
Forky Asks a Question shorts. They are only about five minutes long, fairly relaxing, and feel like a story. These are a big hit in my house!
I wish I could have bibbidi bobbidi boo'd those Bedtime Stories right into your living room, Christin, but hopefully I've offered some good alternatives. Your children will have those extra special stories to look forward to during their next vacation at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. When you're ready to plan your next trip,
be sure to come back and see us for all of your planning advice!
Have a magical day,
Betsy
