Hey there, Kristine! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
This is not a strange request at all. I love to belt out a tune now and then - although I can't speak for the people who have to listen to me belting out that tune.
The only spot I know of that has karaoke on Walt Disney World property is Kimonos, an Asian-themed restaurant in the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel that becomes a fun-filled karaoke lounge at night. The singing usually gets started around 9:30 p.m., so I'm not sure if that's too late for your daughter. It's a lounge atmosphere in the evening, and while many lounges at Walt Disney World are family-friendly, there are some that are specifically limited to the over-21 crowd. To be on the safe side, you can always call and ask what their policy is for having younger Guests step up for a song or two.
I hope this helps in your planning, Kristine. Please stop by and see us again if you have any other questions. Wishing you a vacation filled with song!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
