Does anywhere in the parks etc offer military discounts? like shopping places?

    Hi Alicia,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Most often, the discounts that Disney offers to the military are on rooms and theme park tickets.  Disney's current offers to the military on rooms and tickets can be found online by scrolling down the offers on the site.  Also, active duty and many other military members can stay at Shades of Green on Walt Disney World resort property.  Information about Shades of Green, including eligibility to stay, is available at www.shadesofgreen.org.  I do not believe that Disney is currently offering shopping or dining discounts to members of the military; however, there are some locations not owned by Disney but on Disney property who may offer military discounts.  Many of these are at Downtown Disney, such as the House of Blues and Basin.  At any Downtown Disney location, I recommend that you ask if they are currently offering a military discount.  There is a good unofficial site online which maintains a list of current Disney military discounts at www.militarydisneytips.com.  This site includes a list of Downtown Disney retailers and restaurants offering military discounts.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Alicia!  Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
