Is there anywhere other than Be Our Guest to get the grey stuff? My son is too old for the kids menu and won’t eat anything on the adult menu. He really wants the grey stuff. Could we pay for the adult meal but order from the kids menu?

    Hi Linda! Welcome to planDisney.

You are just a few days away from your magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. Your arrival is still in time to catch the last few days of The World's Most Magical Celebration. Look for the golden Disney Fab 50 Character Collection statues. At Magic Kingdom Park in the hub, you will see the head cheese himself, Mickey Mouse.

I did indeed "ask the dishes", and they told me the grey stuff is delicious! I understand your son's desire for that creamy, sweet treat! Outside of Be Our Guest Restaurant, often Gaston's Tavern will have rotating "grey stuff" inspired desserts. I did check the menu, but unfortunately, I did not see the fan-favorite grey stuff cupcake at this time. While I cannot promise restaurant policy, I am confident if you are paying the adult price for your son, the staff would accommodate his kid's selections. Please ask your host or server to verify.

In the meantime, you can recreate that smooth delicious treat at home. Check out this blog post from our buddies at Disney Parks Blog. This easy recipe brings the grey stuff to your own kitchen to enjoy.

    Keeping it Magical,
