Is there anywhere to get a glass of wine or beer in Magic Kingdom that doesn’t involve a table service meal?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Jennifer! Welcome back to planDisney! We are so glad you stopped by with another great question.

Oh my goodness, you are visiting Walt Disney World during such a special time! Not only will you get to join Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration, but you'll also get to enjoy the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! How lucky is that? If you get a chance to do so, I highly recommend spending some time at EPCOT to revel in all that the festival has to offer. Of course, EPCOT's festivals are famous for the culinary creations from the many outdoor kitchens, but have you heard about the incredible live music? The Garden Rocks Concert Series is sure to get you moving and grooving, with fantastic artists scheduled to perform throughout the festival. Make sure to keep an eye on your My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date concert showtimes, so you don't miss out on the fun.

Now, on to your question, Jennifer! At this time, the only place to grab an alcoholic beverage in Magic Kingdom Park would be at select table service restaurants throughout the park. While I know this isn't what you were hoping to hear, I might have a fun alternative way to grab a drink on your Magic Kingdom day! One of my favorite things to do during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is to check out a few of the fabulous Disney Resorts Collection hotels. While all the resorts are incredible, I have to say that my heart belongs to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, partially because it is the home of Trader Sam's Grog Grotto and Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace. Both options serve some of the most unique and delicious tropical cocktails you will ever have. The Polynesian Pearl is my personal favorite, and the pearl it's served in is yours to keep! With Disney's Polynesian Village being just a short monorail ride from Magic Kingdom Park, why not take a break in your day to head over, grab a drink, and enjoy the views of Cinderella Castle across Seven Seas Lagoon? That should like such a fabulous afternoon to me!

Jennifer, I hope I have been able to help you today! There are still a few weeks before you head out on your vacation, so please feel free to stop by again with any other planning questions you may have!

    Happy planning!
