is there anywhere that I can find if I can take bags on rides? camera bag, bag pack, etc...What do I do with my bags if I go on say Rock n Roller coaster? Thx

    Hi Thomas!

Thanks for sending in your question to the Moms Panel!  I personally carry a medium-sized backpack on most of my trips to Walt Disney World.  It's great for holding a camera, rain poncho, snacks, water, hat, etc.  However, other members of your party will want to add stuff to it; my children seem to be especially good at doing that and not carrying anything themselves!  As you can probably guess, I don't have a solution to that problem.

You can carry your backpack on every attraction at Walt Disney World, and I have except for on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Staring Aerosmith in Disney's Hollywood Studios.  For that attraction, there is a place where you can store it while riding.  However, you can also just carry it on with you and I've seen many guests do just that; the number one method appears to be putting it on the floor with a foot through the strap.  I just don't have the personal experience in carrying my backpack on that attraction as my wife doesn't enjoy it and I can just leave it with her.

The other attraction that may concern you is Kali River Rapids in Disney's Animal Kingdom, because when you watch guests coming off... most of them are soaked!!!!  However, there is a bin in the middle of the raft that will keep things nice and dry.  I've never had any problems on that ride or on Splash Mountain in the Magic Kingdom.

    Have a magical vacation!
