Hi there, Kayla! Welcome to planDisney! You've asked a great question, and I'm happy to tackle it!
Shopping at
Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite pastimes. While my wallet isn't always on board, I love browsing the stores in the theme parks,
Disney Springs, and the Resort hotels. A keychain with your name on it is a classic souvenir, either for yourself or a loved one. I happen to have a personalized Cast member keychain on my key ring right now! It was a gift from some sweet friends.
Merchandise at the Disney theme parks is constantly changing, and there is no official way to confirm what merchandise is currently available. I know that many stores offer a variety of souvenir keychains, but I am uncertain if any currently have names on them or if they can be personalized. I recently saw several options in the
Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. in
Magic Kingdom Park that have general titles on them (like #1 Mom, Big Brother, etc.). I believe
World of Disney in Disney Springs has similar offerings. I also saw really cute keychains with initials, as well as Minnie Mouse keychains with birthstones.
Don't despair yet, though, Kayla. I do have a few ideas for you. One option is a personalized leather keychain. These are available at
Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar next to Pirates of the Caribbean. Engraving is included in the price of the item. Another possibility is to visit one of the several self-serve kiosks where you can choose an ID tag and engrave it. These can easily be added to a key ring. They are affordable souvenirs that are fun to collect! I recently answered another guest's question about where to find these machines. I think you might find the information useful, so I'll link that answer
here.
If you are open to something different, you can have a variety of items embroidered at
Curtain Call Collectibles, located near the entrance of Magic Kingdom. This isn't limited to Mickey Ears, though those are always a great choice! I've had friends get everything from spirit jerseys to Mickey plushies personalized there. The item has to be fabric, new, and purchased at a Disney theme park.
Disney's Wonderful World of Memories in Disney Springs also personalizes gifts.
Finally, I found this planDisney answer from a few years ago that has some great ideas. It isn't keychains, but I'll link it
here in case you are interested.
I hope this helps, Kayla! If you have any additional magical questions, please let us know! That's our specialty here at
