    is there anywhere besides character dining, where we can get mickey mouse waffles? We will be on a budget and do not want to do the character breakfast.

    Did someone say "Mickey waffles?" Woo-hoo! How can you not be in a great mood if you get to answer a question on the Disney Parks Moms Panel about Mickey waffles? Thanks so much, Guadalupe, for making my day.

    The answer to your question is a resounding, "You betcha!" Mickey waffles can be found many places besides character dining locations. Here are a few of them:
    My favorite place to have Mickey waffles is at Capt. Cook's on the first floor of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. This quick service restaurant is just a short monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom Park so it would be easy to have breakfast there on the day you plan to visit that park. Also, Capt. Cook's offers the additional lure of having Tonga Toast on their breakfast menu. You do not want to miss this deep-fried, banana-stuffed sourdough bread. Trust me on this one.
