Is there anyway for my 11 year old and 5 year old to hangout together in the kids club? We booked the cruise with this being our plan.

Ahoy there Andrea!  A magical vacation on Disney Cruise Line is great for people of all ages with so much to do and enjoy.

The age requirements for the Youth Activities are strictly enforced for the safety of the young Guests.  Your 5-year-old son will need to go to Disney's Oceaneer Club or Oceaneer Lab, and your 11-year-old can go to Edge.  They can spend time together in the same Youth Activities space during Open House.  All Open House times will be available in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.  There is usually an Open House on Embarkation Day so I encourage you and your family to check out the Youth Activities areas on that day to kick off your cruise.

Ohana means family, and I know your kids want to hang out together, Andrea.  Outside of the Youth Activities areas, there are plenty of other activities to do together, such as family trivia, bingo (one of our favorites), and live shows.  There are also many family-friendly Port Adventures to explore while you are in port.

If you have any other questions before your cruise, sail back to planDisney and we will be happy to help.

    Adventure is out there!
