Hi there, Lucy! I’m so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question!
I'm so glad to hear you have a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planned! Isn't it exciting to know that an incredible adventure is on the horizon? I just know you're going to have the most amazing time on your trip, so I’m so happy to be able to help you as you plan the vacation of your dreams!
As you mentioned in your question, a
Park Pass Reservation is required before entering your first park of each day. Then, if you have purchased the
Park Hopper Option for your ticket, you can head over to a different park after 2 p.m. However, some parks do get booked up, so I always recommend securing your reservations as early as possible.
In the meantime, you will want to keep an eye on the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, which will show what parks are available to be reserved and which are at capacity for the dates you plan to visit. While this won’t indicate if a park is CLOSE to capacity, it’s still a super helpful tool as you start planning your vacation itinerary.
Once you’re ready to make your Park Pass Reservations, click on the “+” in the middle of your
My Disney Experience app navigation bar and click on “Make a Park Reservation.” From there, click on “Theme park Tickets,” and a separate browser window will open. You can then select the members of your party, the date of your visit, and the park you would like to reserve.
I do hope I have been able to help you today, Lucy! I know there is a lot to consider when planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so just know that the team here at planDisney is here to help! We love answering questions from fellow Guests to help make their vacation as magical as possible, so please don't hesitate to reach out with any other questions you may have!
Have a fabulous day!
